Our work

Demand-driven, from start to finish.

Most equipment donations start with what a donor has to spare. Ours start with what a hospital needs, and don’t stop when the equipment arrives.

The challenge

Why so many donations fail.

Not what was needed

Equipment is chosen because it is available, not because the receiving hospital asked for it.

Broken or incomplete

Devices arrive untested, without accessories, spare parts or documentation, or are already near the end of their life.

No one to run or repair it

Without training and technical support, even good equipment soon stops being used.

Research on hospitals in low- and middle-income countries has found that around 38% of medical equipment is out of service, and that 40 to 70 percent of donated devices are unusable at or shortly after delivery. The World Health Organization’s guidance on medical device donations calls for the opposite approach: donations driven by the recipient’s request, with documentation, training and follow-up.

How it works

Five steps, one partnership.

  1. Request

A healthcare institution tells us what it needs. Our partners on the ground validate the request before anything else happens.

  2. Match

We find a hospital or supplier with that equipment to spare, and agree the terms of the transfer.

  3. Check

Every item is assessed, tested and, where needed, refurbished, so only working equipment is sent.

  4. Deliver

We coordinate transport, export documents and customs clearance, all the way to the receiving institution.

  5. Train & support

Local staff learn to use and maintain the equipment, and we stay involved to solve problems afterwards.

What makes us different

Built in from day one.

Demand-driven by design

Our articles of association require a validated request from a receiving institution before any equipment is sourced. It’s a rule, not a preference.

Local partners on the receiving side

We work with partner organisations and board members in the regions we serve, to validate needs and follow up once equipment arrives.

Training and follow-up as core work

Training and technical support are part of every transfer, so the equipment keeps working long after delivery.

A responsible channel for surplus

For donor hospitals, we offer a documented, compliant route for surplus equipment that supports circular-economy and sustainability goals.

Get involved

Two sides of every partnership.

For hospitals and suppliers

Do you have medical equipment, logistics capacity or training resources you no longer need? We match them with an institution that has asked for exactly that.

  • We assess, test and document the equipment
  • We handle transport, export papers and customs
  • You know exactly where your equipment goes and how it is used
Offer equipment

For healthcare institutions

Does your hospital or clinic lack equipment it needs? Tell us what you need, and we will work with you and our local partners to validate the request and find a match.

  • You decide what you need, not the donor
  • Equipment arrives tested and complete
  • Your staff are trained to use and maintain it
