Who we are
Stichting MedEquity (RSIN 869847752), registered in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, is responsible for processing the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@med-equity.org.
What we collect and why
When you email us, we receive your name, email address, organisation (if given) and message. We use these only to answer your question and, where relevant, to follow up on a possible partnership. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you, or taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement.
Donations
Online donations are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details on its own secure pages; we do not see or store your full card or bank details. We receive your name, email address, the amount and date of your donation, which we keep to process your donation, thank you and meet our legal accounting obligations.
Website
This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to third parties when you visit. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security purposes for a limited time.
How long we keep your data
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your question or our partnership, and no longer than two years after our last contact. Donation records are kept for seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers that help us run our foundation, such as our payment processor (Stripe), website host and email provider, under agreements that protect your data. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Email us at info@med-equity.org to exercise these rights. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this policy. The latest version is always available on this page.
